Re: Cergos 355

Hi there and welcome to the forum You're right, all rights to Renault Agriculture literature were transferred to a French entusiast site. I've been in contact with them and suggested some form of cooperation and exchange, as we're fellow enthusiasts. However, they maintain that they accept English s...

Re: Renault 180-94tz gearbox failure

Hi Tucha and welcome to the forum:-) I'm not sure exactly what's wrong but it sounds like good news if the computer works in another tractor, suggests it's something electrical on yours? Maybe brittle wiring which has snapped? Hopefully someone with specific experience of error 8 will be able to adv...

Hi Extermineytor and welcome to the forum :)

I'm not really familiar with the clutch calibration but I think there have been previous threads where it was discussed, so possibly worth a search!

Re: classic tractor special

Nice one ;) Good heads up.

Will be interesting to read.

I'll maybe have to give them a shout and see if we can promote this site...they were in touch previously, briefly, but nothing came of it...sounds like this would be the perfect opportunity :P

Re: Renault & Claas day Sat 8th Oct - Devon

Hi James, Good to hear that it was a successful day, would be great to see some pics! Yep, I've always hoped that this forum would grow to a point where it evolved into an owner's club of sorts. Attracting members has proved difficult, however, and we're yet to reach some kind of tipping point where...

Sounds possible, yes. Bit of a coincidence that cleaning the other valve sorted it previously though? But worth a look, definitely.

Re: Renault ceres 345x hydraulic problem HELP!!!

Hi David and welcome to the forum It sounds like either the valve is faulty or not very well sealed. If it worked for a bit after cleaning the first time but not the second, it may be that a bit of debris slipped in when refitting ans so it's not sealing properly? Otherwise, it sounds as though you ...

Hi James, That sounds great, people enjoying seeing the tractors working and not getting all anal about furrow straightness! Nice to hear the positive stories of those who worked from the brand, would be lovely to see some of them shared here too! Hope you get lots of photos of the event and are hap...

Hi there and welcome to the forum :)

Maybe the oldest tractor on here so far! Would be good to see pics. Would I have seen this tractor on eBay recently?

What kind of work are you planning for it?

Hi James, welcome to the forum here No, of course there's no problem with 'advertising' the event. I read about it in Classic Tractor, I think, I'd intended posting about it here too. Sounds like it should be a good day and great to team up with the Renault Owners club and get cars along too! I have...

Re: Another newbie to pick your brains

Cool. We've just added a Krone 4 rotor tedder to a 9ft Niemeyer mower and good, old Haybob for hay duties. Also got an old Jones conventional baler but it tends to get rounds fed through in the shed, rather than used in the field. Likely to be increasing hay output in years to come, so looking at ge...

Re: Another newbie to pick your brains

Hi Midlandsmadman and welcome to the forum Sounds like a good couple of tractors you've got there. Is it mostly hay you're producing on your own land too, or is that more the contracting side? Would be interested to know what kit you've got...I farm a small area too and am slowly getting equipment t...

Hi Lorraine,

Unfortunately not, no. Helen did send on the file she had but I was unable to access (it's usually fairly simple to pull out the password on these but this one was implemented better than anticipated) .

Thanks,

Re: Renault Tractor Ignition

Hi Lorraine,

Maybe you could upload a picture of the switch so we can see what it looks like?

The wiring should be fairly simple (don't have a diagram, unfortunately) but wouldn't think you could go too far wrong with just trial and error!

Sorry, know that's not a huge help...

Manual for 180-94

There's a manual and other literature available for a Renault 180-94 in the for-sale section of the trading place forum, in case anyone's missed it (I know there's a lot of manual requests here!). [edit to add link http://www.renault-agriculture.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=9707 ]
